File transfers

The way we handle file transfers and storage has received a much awaited update!  If you identify any hiccup when downloading/uploading a file from Nestor, please let us know at support@nestor-edp.org


Improvement of the file module

The file module has received the following updates:

  • Files are now ordered
    • first by filetype order
    • then alphabetically
  • No more confirmation popup when changing a file type
  • Multi-select for easy deletes and downloads!
  • The module display is now much clearer on small screens

Co-author validation: linking an existing account

The corresponding author sometimes uses an alternate address (for example a gmail) to register a co-author. If the co-author is already registered in Nestor with another address, this will result in a duplicate account.

This update addresses the issue by proposing the coauthor to discard the alternate address and link his/her historic account:
