Metadata configuration

Following 6.60, metadata stillwill benefitsbenefit from a series of updates:

  • Set the visibility of individual metadata fields for authors and referees:image.png

    By default, the following standard metadata will be displayed to authors and referees:

    • article type
    • section
    • author list
    • topical issue
    • abstract
    • comment

    Questionnaire configuration

    • When setting up closed answers, the interface has been revamped to match Nestor look and feel:

    • Answers to questionnaires can (at last!) be used to fill standard or custom fields:

    Editorial Board management

    For editorial offices: on the profile page, two fields appear to track beginning and end of activity.

    This data can be exported as well as other relevant editorial data:

    Authors management: new activity button

    On a user page, activity as co-author is now distinct from the activity as corresponding author:

    Referee invitation: new warning

    When inviting a referee on a given paper, Nestor now checks if the potential referee has submitted with co-authors in the past. If so, a warning will be raised like so:

    Rights management

    The code handling users' rights has been significantly overhauled to improve maintainability. Please let us know if you see something unusual: support@nestor-edp.org
