Ajax everywhere

Thanks to Ajax, Nestor quits refreshing whole article pages each time you perform an action!

Now, Nestor refreshes only the necessary parts, in the background. On the whole, response times and UX feels much faster.

Editor interface: small improvements in configuration pages

With an editorial office account, you probably noticed that the left menu is getting more crowded with each version.

  • We have reordered the different options, to (hopefully) make more sense. In the near future, the left menu will probably undergo another makeover to save space / be clearer. Your suggestions are welcome.

  • Configuration pages have been renamed properly:
    • Object lists
    • Creation pages (New object)
    • Edition pages now display the object name (Edit object - Name)

Author interface: Improved proof correction workflow


The author interface benefits from two updates:

  • For a given article, critical actions are now visible both on the dashboard and the article.

Upgrade to Symfony 5.0

( ⚆ _ ⚆ ) Nestor devs are happy now, so this sound important. Although they say weWe still have to upgrade to 6.0 though ( ⚆ _ ⚆ )
