# 5.90 LaTeX diff, workflow updates, automatic mail recipients

27 August 2024

---

### LaTeX diff

This feature is available for journals using the LaTeX compilation feature. Using this, Nestor compares two LaTeX source files and generates a comparison PDF. This is useful to track changes from one version to another.

---

### Even more workflow updates

Following this [release](https://doc.nestor-edp.org/books/release-notes/page/580-editorial-assignment-tool-correcting-co-authors-addresses-workflow-dates#bkmrk-workflow-dates-more-), all referee events have been identified as update triggers for the 'last action date'. This will help editors to distinguish 'active articles' (with a recent action date) from 'delayed' articles.

---

### Automatic mails recipients

The following events can now trigger a notification to a specific profile, such as editorial assistants:
\- receipt of referee report
\- decline of referee invitation
\- acceptance of referee invitation

**This is not activated by default and must be configured in templates settings.**

---

### Last version article files

On published articles, article files and metadata of the accepted version will always be displayed.
